Is this commission-only?
Compensation is discussed in detail with the hiring manager during the interview process. It's a combination structure that includes Commission, Residuals, Bonuses, and Stocks.
Do I need a license?
You'll need a state health and life insurance license. Most agencies sponsor the course and cover the cost. It takes most people one to two weeks to complete.
Will I have to cold call?
No. Inbound inquiries are routed to you by zip code, and modern agencies coach you on generating warm introductions from your existing network. Cold calling is not part of the modern playbook.
Do I need a sales background?
No — in fact, people without a traditional sales background often do well here because the platform handles most of the heavy lifting. What matters is listening well, being organized, and being coachable.
Can I work remote?
